A jolt from heaven

We experienced an earthquake today, here in Delhi. 4.3 on the Richter. Not much you'd say. But it struck at 4.43 am. I think it lasted for hardly 10 seconds, but was enough to shake me up! Let's just say that at that point every worry I ever had just flew out of my mind and the only thing I wanted was to stay alive! At that moment, nothing but life mattered.

I guess it's God's way of nudging us from time to time to remind us to stop and smell the flowers.

oh...god..tht freaked me out too..i was plannin to blog about it...but good u've already written somethin about it..now the laziness has stirred...so i won't blog it...but i do have somethin funny to share here...

i felt somethin too, eventhough i was in a good sleep...the light was out except for my television where johhny gadaar was playin..i must have slept while watchin the dvd...suddenly i was up,unaware...but it was surely the movement of my bed tht woke me up...n then i heard loud scream comin from the adjacent room..i just couldn't figure it out,but i had this feelin tht it was probably a ghost of death yellin...but when it spoke loud for the second time..i realised it was my roomate callin me out...i was relieved, but tht was only for a fraction of a fraction of tht second even, cos the tremor was still on...n suddenly it stopped.

we stepped out of ur place to make sure we were safe...n then after tht we didn't sleep till 8 in the mornin, just in case there was another one comin to shake us...but later,we slept like dogs, snoring away....god,tht was some scare n some quake....

u know wat...i might just copy paste this thing n blog it...hehe

...and to think that I was sleeping, oblivious to the world. Aah..dreaming of...something.

Yep, life's for living, not for "getting it bloody done and over with, for god's sake", like some people I know would think.

Ciao

Heard about the quake. But it must have shaken you up really. i have felt the tremor of 2001 Gujrat quake.

Goddamit scary!!!

that thing shook me out of bad too. for a moment or two i simply sat scratching my head trying to reason out if i am awake or sleeping. What troubled me most was not the actual quake but the aftershocks, the tremors which continued for some good time
