The Toughest Job in the World

I have the toughest job in the world, and I can't even crib about it. Its called being a mom. It is that stage in my life when I don't know if I ever existed as another human being. I feel like I am this feeding, loving, puke-cleaning, poop-coaxing, sleep deprived cyborg that was born to be forever available to my increasingly demanding, commanding two year old daughter. And if this wasn't enough, I am also the entertainer/ clown/ doctor/ caregiver/ dietitian/ cleaning lady/ driver with a perpetual frumpy, grumpy demeanor due to being pushed over the edge.

I want my MOMMY!!! :((

I can't imagine myself being a mother, it's far too abstract.

Hi Mirage :-)

First of all, thank you for dropping by or should I say stumbling unto my blog. The pleasure was all mine.

I picked out this post to reply to because it touched on familiar strings in the heart.... having been a working-mom myself.

Oh yes, it's not easy. Fact is, no woman is or ever was nor will be prepared to be a Mom. The basic things are there to experience, sure, but you will still find how much your own experience would differ from others. It's really how you respond or interact with the new things happening to you that makes it quite unique to yourself... and a worthy story to share to whoever might be looking for more learning about it.

Hang in there. Sooner than you think your child will have grown into an adult and you will be left with the memories to hold in the heart. Create those memories now.

Wishing you all the best.
God bless you and your family.

Thanks Ellen, for visiting!

I know moms all over the world have a tough time, but we all keep at it any way! And I know these are the moments that I will be sharing with my daughter some day, giving her tips and tricks on how to raise her kid and still getting no where close to helping her! :P What can I say, moms rule! :D
